Inheritance petition, 1404.

Petition concerning the inheritance of Giovanni di Gano Chiccoli filed with the Curia Arcivescovile of Pisa by Giovanni di Michele, rector of the churches of San Giovanni Battista and San Donnino, Pisa. The testator originally left a small donation to the church and named his nephew Matteo di Lippo Chiccoli his sole heir. Matteo died unexpectedly shortly after and so did his son, Giovanni di Matteo Chiccoli, both without a will, and Giovanni di Michele petitioned to have the rest of the estate of Giovanni di Gano Chiccoli donated to his church. Notarized by Bartolomeo di Pietro Antonio Ghessano of Pisa on 14 September 1404.
